Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but tolerates low light very well. It won’t grow as quickly or as full in dim spots, and its variegation may fade—but it’ll survive.

Water: Let the top 1–2 inches of soil dry out between waterings. Overwatering is the main way to kill a pothos, so if you're unsure—wait. They’d rather dry out than sit in soggy soil.

Humidity: Average indoor humidity is fine. It appreciates the occasional misting but doesn’t demand it.

Temperature: Likes temperatures between 65–85°F. Avoid cold drafts and temps below 50°F.

Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix. A standard indoor mix with some perlite works well.

Fertilizer: Feed once a month during the growing season (spring and summer) with a diluted balanced liquid fertilizer. It’s pretty unfussy if you skip it here and there.

Toxicity: It’s toxic to pets and people if ingested, causing irritation or stomach upset, so keep it out of reach.
