Bracteantha, otherwise known as Xerochrysum or "Strawflower", is a bright and sturdy annual to use in your seasonal containers. Strawflowers are native to the Australian Outback where they grow to a height of 2-3 feet with a 24 inch spread. They are great for a long lasting cut floral element and can even look great dried.

- Watering: even moisture
- Soil: regular, well drained, fertile potting mix
- Height: variable depending on type
- Fertilization: prefer a low phosphorus fertilizer (low second analysis number)
